CHECKLIST TWO:

250 words

Prior to attempting this week’s forum read the information in week 7’s lesson. In doing so, look over checklist 1 and checklist 2 located in the week 7 lesson. Students are to double-check their paper and make sure it is ready for final submission, per the checklists. Students after proofreading their paper are to discuss any recommendations they may have to offer their classmates to ensure their paper is ready for grading. In other words, what if anything did you catch that needed attention when you doubled checked your paper that you suggest your classmates also check to ensure is correct.

Instructions:

Each student’s answer to the question should be between 250-500 words. A minimum of two references needs to be used in the development of your answer. Also, be mindful of including references and citations whenever citing facts to support your position. The most recent edition of the APA manual must be used for in-text citations and references.

Weeks 7 Lesson:

The focus of these last two weeks is to revise and check so you can submit your best possible work. The final submission must be received no later than Sunday of week 8. No late submissions will be accepted. No excuses. Therefore, it is important for you to be sure to double, if not triple check your work, go back through the previous lessons (especially regarding APA), and contact me with any questions. Waiting until the due date is not going to work!

Okay, first let’s look at some checklists, then we’ll discuss plagiarism a bit more in-depth

Read your paper for any content errors. Arrange and rearrange ideas to follow your outline. Reorganize your outline if necessary, but always keep the purpose of your paper and your readers in mind.

  • Students are to re-read their paper for grammatical errors. Use a dictionary or a thesaurus as needed. Please check the spelling. Correct all errors that you can spot and improve the overall quality of the paper to the best of your ability. Get someone else to read it over. Sometimes a second pair of eyes can see mistakes that you missed. Also, use the spell and grammar check!
