Purpose:
The purpose of the event audit is to analyze an event with the “eye” of a mega event planner. You should be observing all aspects of the event, no longer only as an attendee, but now as if you are going to be running this specific event in the future. Document what was successful at this event, as well as what needs improvement. In addition, creatively brainstorm what “other” added amenities might enhance the experience of the attendee. You will want to use an event that you will be attending while in this class during the term. You must attend an event (virtually or in person when safely possible). You cannot report on an event that youattended in the past unless all options have been exhausted. Any event can be audited such as a WaterFire, an event on campus, comedy club, small dinner party, birthday party, or even a virtual concert.(Note: A movie cannot be considered as a “live” event for the purposes of this assignment.) Please use the following outline in creating your evaluations. This must be in essay format 2-3 pages in APA format. You MUST follow the format exactly as outlined below or points will be deducted. This assignment is not due until Week 7, however I wanted to give you several weeks to get this done. Whenyou are ready to submit your Event Audit, please do so in the Module dropbox.
